Sunday, Sept. 13: The AI trade did not end last week with one clean signal. It split. AMD gained 8.1% from Sept. 4 to Sept. 11, while NVDA fell 5.2%, MU lost 4.1%, and ORCL dropped 5.4%. I watched the Friday close with the same question I bring to every weekend: is the theme breaking, or is leadership changing hands?
The Alpha Dashboard says the answer is rotation, not retreat. Its Friday view showed 100% sentiment, Tech leading with $27.3 million across 21 bullish orders, and a $3.3 million META $660 call sweep expiring Sept. 25. That is a very different message from a chart that only shows last week’s losers.
Price weakness in the headline AI names can hide fresh demand in the next group of leaders. Open AlphaX Options to see the strike map behind the rotation.
The week’s split screen

The broad ETFs were steadier than the single names. SPY slipped 0.8% and QQQ fell 0.6%. AVGO gained 1.1%. The key point is not that one name won. It is that the basket hid a sharp internal handoff.
What the dashboard is saying first
Open the dashboard’s trend panel and the leader list is broad: INTC, META, QCOM, GOOGL, DELL, and NVDA all show +100 trend strength. INTC leads the bullish leaderboard with $7.7 million. META follows with $3.3 million, then QCOM and GOOGL at $2.9 million each.

On my radar for Monday
- META: Does the $660 call sweep keep the trend panel strong?
- INTC: Can the biggest bullish leaderboard print turn into price follow-through?
- NVDA and MU: Watch whether flow improves before the charts reclaim lost ground.
This week’s lesson is simple: a green Tech heatmap is not enough. The better read comes from matching the dashboard’s flow and trend leaders with the names actually holding price. Monday’s first hour should tell us whether the handoff is real.
P.S. The dashboard is already separating the $7.7 million INTC leader from the weaker AI charts. Use AlphaX Options to follow the next strike map.
