The massive news this week is SpaceX (SPCX) going public and shooting higher from there.
It is now one of the most valuable companies on the planet and is the largest IPO on record.
But, just as traders and investors pour into the new flashy stock, they will soon realize upside is limited and reallocate back into the traditional names. That brings us to our trade today.
A big roller plowed $1M into Amazon (AMZN) and it’s time to jump in.
Here’s your action to take:
We are adding the AMZN September 18, 2026 $250 call option for up to $13.50. Expect some volatility throughout the day. At last glance, this option was trading at $12.90. Our target price to the upside is for the option to hit $25, a potential triple-digit gain.
Our trade is set to expire a few months later than this trade, but it is all about preference. We are not holding until expiration. Instead, we buy some extra time as a conservative approach. It increases the likelihood of preserving capital even if we are wrong about the trade.
The trade we are following grabbed the $245 strike out to July 10, 2026 with a Sweep trade. Quick reminder, this is the type of activity we look for. A trade with a sense of urgency in the execution via Sweep and a sizeable amount on the line. $1M typically suffices.
Strike price is out of the money too, supporting the conviction behind the trade.
