Alright, we are past the feast of Thanksgiving.
And with all we have to be thankful for, just know that most of that is not due to being idle.
Idle hands are the devil’s workshop, as the saying from Proverbs 16:27 goes.
So, we want to stay active, not just in our physical lives, but in our spiritual growth and, of course, I would apply it to our investing/trading.
Today, I want to layout the roadmap for 2026 and beyond with a new portfolio balance that I have not seen enough of just yet.
It’s the future and it’s time the diversified portfolio reflects it.
Let’s talk about C.A.R.B.S.

New Age Diversification
C.A.R.B.S. This is all you need for the new age of diversification.
You know the old concept, some gold, tech, consumer staples, materials, etc.
The general sectors of the market and diversifying through them.
Well, not all are going to be relevant over the next decade. Clear winners are not going to be made up of the traditional sectors. And I’m an old school fan. Gold has been on a historic run. Do you really think it continues this level of outperformance?
Maybe so. You can hold onto your gold. But everything else, needs to get upgraded to the new age.
And for that, you need CARBS.
C – Crypto – replaces financials.
A – Artificial Intelligence – replaces tech.
R – Robotics – replaces industrials.
B – Batteries – replaces materials.
S – Solar – replaces utilities.
Some of these sound a bit outdated already. Such as Solar.
But here’s the latest take on Solar from none other than Elon Musk himself:
In a November 23, 2025, post on X, Musk explained: “The Sun is 99.8% of all mass in our solar system. Even if you somehow burned Jupiter and everything that is not the Sun in a fusion reactor, the Sun would still round up to 100% of all energy. The Sun is all that matters long-term.” This was in response to a video highlighting the Sun’s scale in the solar system. In a June 2, 2025, post, he succinctly stated: “Solar is ~100% of energy long-term,” replying to data on solar power’s rapid growth.Earlier, on February 24, 2025, amid a discussion on AI’s energy demands and the limitations of non-renewables, Musk noted: “Essentially all energy will be solar long-term.”
Yet, most portfolios that even attempt to be diversified exclude solar due to volatility and uncertainty.
At this point, it’s a must have to add exposure to Crypto, AI, Robotics, Batteries and Solar.
And it turns out one company covers all three – Tesla.
One Stock to Rule Them All
If you want a portfolio that is diversified, focus on the CARBS as discussed above.
If you want one stock to go all in on over the next decade, Tesla (TSLA) is the only no brainer out there.
Via Tesla, you get exposure to the leading electric vehicle maker and tech leader. The company has a huge lead in batteries, which are critical to utilizing solar, which the company also offers, at scale. then there’s the AI powered tech in the self-driving software and Dojo supercomputer. The company is in position to be the leader in what will likely be the next revolutionary wave in the world and that’s robotics. And the company owns crypto via bitcoin and focuses on Dogecoin as well.
It is the only single company in the world to cover all of your basis on the new age of the markets – CARBS.
I’ll be releasing a report near the end of the year on portfolio diversification around the CARBS of the world, but if you’re like me and don’t really care for a portfolio, Tesla is the one stock to load up on today.
And for the traders out there, more to come.
Stay tuned.
